About OIA

The Office of Institutional Advancement was established in July 2003 to coordinate advancement activities for the University. Striving for excellence while seeking new opportunities to enhance resources for CUHK, our goals are:

to coordinate fund-raising campaigns via university-wide effort
to solicit resources for the long-term advancement of the University
to establish a fund-raising culture in the University
to plant and nurture a "Seed of Giving" in every student and alumni

Why Fund-Raising?

The many challenges posed by the new century in the tertiary education sector have made private givings and donations indispensable in our efforts to serve, to improve, and to strive for excellence in quality education. We are therefore actively looking for more patrons to sponsor our programmes and academic activities. With the generous support from our friends, alumni, staff, benefactors, and community leaders, we are fully confident that the University will continue to scale new heights in its fifth decade and make greater contributions to the global community we serve.
