The Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthly has recently conducted a performance survey on the 8 UGC-funded tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, the results of which were published in its May 2007 issue. The institutions were assessed on 6 major areas, including the percentage of PhD holders for academic staff, JUPAS admission results, teaching quality, financial resources, quality of graduates and research performance.
