MPhil-PhD Programme in Government and Public Administration

Our MPhil-PhD Programme is a research-type programme leading to the degree of MPhil or PhD in Government and Public Administration. Students admitted to the MPhil stream and PhD stream will take the same courses, but with higher requirement for PhD than MPhil students. MPhil students with outstanding results may apply for transferral to the PhD stream, whereas PhD students performing unsatisfactorily will be transferred to the MPhil stream. The programme thus provides flexibility for conversion between the two streams.

本系的哲學碩士博士銜接課程為研究式深造課程，完成後學生可取得政治與行政學哲學碩士或哲學博士學位。所有獲取錄的哲學碩士及哲學博士研究生，將修讀同一系列課程，惟對於博士組別學生，則要求有較佳的成績。成績傑出之碩士研究生，可申請轉入博士組；而表現未如理想之博士研究生，將被轉往碩士組。因此，本課程提供組別互換的彈性。
