GPA Scholarships

The Fund

Besides scholarships offered by the University and Colleges, our Department also establishes two scholarships in the name of Professor Kuan Hsin Chi to honour his contribution. Outstanding GPA students who meet the following requirements are welcome to apply:

Professor Kuan Hsin Chi Scholarship

To be eligible, the student must:

(a) be a final year GPA undergraduate student or a local GPA graduate of the University within the recent five years;

(b) study overseas in the following academic year after receipt of the scholarship; and

(c) have demonstrated outstanding academic results.

Should there be no suitable candidate identified in a particular year, no award shall be given out.

Professor Kuan Hsin Chi Best Thesis Award

To be eligible, the student must:

(a) be a GPA major at the University;

(b) have taken the course GPA3445 Senior Thesis Research I or GPA3456 Senior Thesis Research II in the award year; and

(c) have demonstrated outstanding academic results in the course listed in (b).

Should there be no suitable candidate identified in a particular year, no award shall be given out.
