Career Prospects

The GPA Department produced its first batch of B.SSc. graduates in 1974, M.Phil. graduates in 1985 and Ph.D. graduates in 1997. By 2004, there had been about 1,282 B.SSc. graduates and 59 MPhil and Ph.D. graduates from our department. The majority of our graduates attained placement in commerce and industry, followed by others in government and education (see table below). Many of them have achieved significant success in their career development; the following are some examples:
